Dior launched its new fragrance Sauvage in September 2015, with the name originating from the fragrance Eau Sauvage from 1966, although the two don’t belong to the same collection.
Sauvage is inspired by wild, open spaces; blue sky that covers rocky landscapes, hot under the desert sun.
The fragrance is announced as radically fresh, raw and noble at the same time. Fresh top notes of Calabria bergamot encounter ambroxan, obtained from precious ambergris, and its woody trail.
Dior Sauvage is advertised by actor Johnny Depp.
Top notes: lemon, bergamot and grapefruit. Heart: galbanum, neroli and pear. Base: gray amber, white musk and rice.
